Instructions

  • Mix the rolled oats in container with water and kefir, cover loosely and leave it out at room temperature for 12-24h.
  • Bring water, a pinch of salt and the fermented rolled oats to a boil. Simmer on low until it has become nice and thick. Stir occasionally.
  • Put the hot oatmeal on a plate, let the butter melt on it and stir it in.
  • Sweeten with (e.g.) maple syrup.
