Ingredients

  • roughly 1 1/2 pounds scliced liver
  • juice of 2-3 lemons (optional)
  • olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 8-10 onions, scliced
  • 1 can of mushrooms

Instructions

  • (Optional) Soak the liver in the lemon juice for several hours.
  • Fry the sliced onions with salt in olive oil. Do not put a lid on the pan and stir the onions every now and then until they are golden brown.
  • Now add the sliced liver and sauté until the liver is done but does not loose any fluid yet.
  • Finally, cut the mushrooms into small pieces and give them into the pan. Mix everything well and let it fry for a short period of time until the mushrooms seem done.
  • Season with salt and serve.
